Telugu Tv serial actress Rani

Vijaya Rani, an Indian actress, has been associated with several Telugu soap serials, with her full name being Battula Vijaya Rani. Notably, she gained recognition for her alleged involvement in fraudulent activities, deceiving her peers and colleagues. Her prominence escalated due to her participation in the popular Telugu daily serial 'Mogalirekulu,' which enjoyed a significant run on Gemini TV until its conclusion in May 2013.

'Mogalirekulu' depicted the dynamics and challenges within a family, focusing on four young boys. Despite her relatively small role, Vijaya Rani received acclaim for her contribution to the show. However, her reputation took a downturn when she faced arrest in Bangalore for purportedly absconding with over ten crore rupees invested by her industry associates in her organized chit fund.

Vijaya Rani operated a chit fund, a micro-financing scheme, where individuals deposited money with the expectation of substantial returns. Many colleagues from the television industry, including actors and crew members, invested in her chit fund. Instead of honoring the financial commitments, the actress allegedly fled, evading potential repercussions for her actions. After a period of hiding, she was eventually apprehended by law enforcement.

During interrogation, Vijaya Rani claimed that she wasn't attempting to escape justice but was fearful for her safety due to threats from unidentified individuals. The actress faced the media, revealing that she owed Rs. 1.72 crore to 72 people, while asserting that more than 52 people owed her money. Since these controversial events unfolded, Vijaya Rani has consistently been embroiled in controversies.

Before the accusations impacted her professional career, she appeared in the serial 'Laya,' produced by The Yellow Media. 'Laya' garnered popularity among Telugu-speaking audiences with its 321 episodes. Directed by J. V. S. Raju, the show centered around the life journey of the protagonist, Chaitanya, and the challenges he encountered. Vijaya Rani played a small role in this successful serial.
