Born to Dr. Manoharan, a physician employed in S.B.I, and Haise, a homemaker, Charmila belongs to a Malayali Syrian Christian family based in Chennai. Her early education took place at Sacred Angels Convent, and she later pursued her studies at Ethiraj College for Women. The actress, who has a younger sister named Angelina, hails from a background deeply rooted in cultural diversity and values.
